Psychodrama Training

Psychodrama is group work that is grounded in sociometry, role plays, role reversals, doubling and scene setting. Psychodrama was developed by JL Moreno in the 1930s and was a strong influence on gestalt therapy, drama therapy, and family therapy, Psychodrama employs all of the creative arts therapies into one milieu of experiential group work.
Mastery of Psychodrama is the gateway to highly effective group work. Psychodrama works in all areas of clinical psychotherapy to include substance abuse, eating disorders, sexual and relationship addiction, treatment for childhood sexual and physical abuse, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, and chronic pain.
Psychodrama works in consort with Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Deep Affect Therapies. It has been used in Depth Psychology and as an augmentation to Analytical Therapies.
Psychodrama is not just restricted to psychotherapy. Moreno intended it to be used in education and, in fact, in any form of group dynamic.
Why Psychodrama Training:
In Psychodrama it is the person who becomes the work of art.
